It depends on when the refs considered he had possession. Was he dribbling or poking the ball away? Depends on the persons view point.

Yeah I was wondering this too actually. I thought he got away with it, but maybe the rules allow that if it's unclear whether he's tipping the pass or dribbling it or whatever.

I don't think so. The NBA allows you to corral the ball on broken plays. I don't think he's actually got control of the ball until he switches it from his right to left hand.

He was smooth enough to have it let go. If he bobbled the ball it probably gets called.

He dribbled the ball twice then picked it up and put it back on the floor.  This definitely is double dribbling. That being said, this is the NBA where excitement and the ratings $$ are more important that the integrity of the game.

I saw the most traveling in that Minn/Boston game than I can remember in a long time.   I yelled Palm, walk, travel, 3 sec,  etc.....at the TV 

And yes our players had several uncalled violations as well......so I kinda did not get so upset ....

The late call giving Minn the ball, was obvious screw up , as it was off the hand of a  Minn player , even the replay and Minn announcers agreed ....bad call. ...I was upset at this one.

He clearly double dribbled, but you can also attest that he lost control of the ball during that point, and had to put the ball back in his hands to not lose it.

That deserves 10 TP's.... I often wonder how they come up with these calls or no calls. Now, I get it.

Refs are pretty lenient when there's a looseball situation regarding when a player gets possession. There's a bounce there, but it's not sure whether Terry actually had possession at that point, especially because he briefly gets held up by contact with Dieng. It's a gray area, and I don't mind refs letting those go.
