The beauty of having a deep team is that when some guys aren't playing hard, you put the other guys in, and that holds all players to a higher level of accountability with one another.

Crowder, Bradley, and Thomas are competitors, but their rhythm is off and it is causing laziness. Give them time.

Horford
Jerebko
Brown
Smart
Rozier

Did I miss something?  Did we decide to tank?

Seriously though, can we give Crowder a chance before you replace him with Brown?  I like Crowder, he is a starter period.

And really, you think we would win more with Rozier/Smart over IT/Bradley?  (Jerebko over Johnson is a wash the way Amir has been playing).  Rozier is not nearly ready to be a starter and I think we are using Smart exactly as he should be used to take full advantage of his versatility.

The only change I would make to the starting line up would be to replace Amir Johnson with a trade piece, say Monroe or someone like that.  If we do that, we will be fine.  Then when we realize that that team is good but not quite good enough, we start trading Vets and build around your  team along with two more BKN picks.

Smart is a SG... this experiment of playing him at the 3, 4, 5 is ridiculous imo

Smart can also guard PGs but overall he is best to defend SGs

AB can guard SGs but can guard pgs the best.  He can suffocate almost all pgs in the league due to decent pg size and exceptional length/athleticism

I would have Smart starting at the SG spot and AB or Rozier start at the pg spot.... This is what you call STELLAR defensive backcourt..

Then have IT come off the bench and/of finish the game if need be.  Inject offensive punch

But alot of you folks take offense over defense...   trading buckets is a dangerous game, and thats what we been doing since the start of the year....  teams have figured out how to take adv of IT size limitations.  In addition IT barely steals the ball,  rebounds the ball...  he tries on the defensive end but is limited
