I'm not sure if this was a tweet or what, but Forsberg has this bit on ESPN.com with some pretty good stats comparing the first 7 games to the last 6:

The Celtics defensive rating over the first 7 was 112.3 (30th) and 97.0 (3) in the last 6. Their net rating was -3.3 during the first 7 and +5.5 in the 6 since. They started the season 3-4 and have gone 4-2 since.

There were some other stats as well but all trending in the right direction and we're only counting one game with Horford/Crowder back.
1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1974, 1976, 1981, 1984, 1986, 2008, 2024

Good stuff indeed. The only thing that's gotten worse is the offense, but that's to be expected since we had a rather blistering start to the season that likely wasn't sustainable.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I love Jaylen Brown, but starting him was a mistake. He is still only a rookie.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
thanks for sharing.
I think Kelly's impact on our second unit will be pretty huge too.
TP
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
