 This season is going on believably bad. Core fit you better get your butt back into the starting lineup. But I'm afraid our deficiencies are beyond that.

Good. This is what the team and coaches needed. I don't know what's going on with all of these losses, but they need to get their act together.

Brad better start adjusting or his head will be called on very soon. C's shouldn't even be losing to teams that have such a terrible record either. This Celtics team is way better than the Lakers, and they are doing way better than them. Embarrassing!

Then we got IT who him and his fellow players came out and got destroyed 17 to 2, after the timeout given onoe more chance only for the Celtics 2 commit two turnovers , give up an alley oop dunk, and a transition 3 pointer in about 15 seconds.

Maybe you and the team should be called out.

I think this is appropriate.  Part of the blame falls on Stevens -- the loss to DEN and the first quarter/loss to WASH was influenced a lot by lack of effort.  Ainge also left us with an anemic frontcourt, healthy or not.  Amir was unhealthy/old last year, he's just old now.  So someone speaking up is helpful; it may have been Crowder, had he been playing.  And Horford needs to get his old butt on the court, too.

It's been a bad start to the season. Honestly, it sorta feels like there's a sense of entitlement in the way the C's have been playing this year. Last year's season was successful because we constantly outworked the other teams. This year, that effort has only come in spurts. I don't think we're good enough yet to just "turn it on".

No worries. Jae and Isaiah called out Brad last year too, on his rotations. Brought a sense of urgency to the team, and things got better after that.

And honestly, you didn't put his next comment, but Isaiah was complaining about his minutes. Isaiah, they went on a 24-3 run in 5 minutes. How the hell do you expect Brad to keep you in after that? If you wanted to stay in, you shoulda done something to stop the run! Can't complain when coach takes you out if you haven't done anything otherwise to keep yourself in the game!

TP. This is the exact reason. Last year everyone doubted us. The guys played with a chip on their shoulder and played hard every night. This year, they think that now that they have Horford that they're some elite team or something. The hype and expectations got to them, and they're no longer playing with that chip on their shoulder when everyone doubted them last year.

Amir and KO had five rebounds between them they were not doing what we pay them to do, so I had no problem with CBS jerking them out.  KO was a -20 Eff, Amir -9.  KO was 0-5 from the floor.

My advise to IT would be, do not shoot 4-12 from the field or 1-6 from downtown and expect good things.

I kinda felt this way the whole time.   Letting Smart and IT get beat up was pointless.   In a game they could not win.   They barely beat Mavs .  Could not beat the Pels .

And yet the game was close at halftime even with uneven refereeing. This was at home and you try to steal a game while injured.

No. I disagree. The Celtics played all right for half a game, then folded. It was worth the try to win.

I'm not entirely sure who IT is talking about but he and the other starters got pantsed to start the second half.  If he's annoyed because Stevens didn't go back to those guys in the fourth, however, that does seem to fit with an apparent culture change on the team.  Stevens used to legitimately go 10+ deep on his rotations.  Now he's often only playing seven guys real minutes and that has been true this season, both before and after Jae and Al got hurt.

Stevens also weirdly seems to be coaching as if he's afraid he might get fired after any loss.  His flat out refusal to give Mickey, Young and Green some run while we've got injuries right at their positions makes no sense at all.

Maybe if you and some other starters weren't playing like a JV basketball team you would have played more minutes. Own the fact that you were terrible, don't try to blame it on the coaching staff.

What do you guys expect?

First off, the C's let Sullinger and Turner go, a fringe starter and 6th man of the year candidate last season.

They replaced Sullinger with Horford, who is now injured, and Crowder is injured as well.

Other than that, the C's didn't really do much besides drafting Brown and signing Gerald.

So yeah, right now this team is a lot worse than expected especially with the injuries. Losing to Golden State is okay, but losing to teams like WAS or DEN (who you should be beating). That's an issue.
