There's no shame in getting dominated by an unfairly stacked team. I don't think any of the washington generals lost sleep getting blown out nightly by the Globetrotters.
In a way, we are extremely fortunate golden state started this season so slow. Had they blown out the spurs in their first game, it would have hovered over this entire season like an ominous cloud. Because they dropped a couple games early and have been nonchalantly coasting through these games, it gives the illusion they are beatable and the reality of adding one of the best players ever to a 73 win team hasn't fully sunk in for the blissfully ignorant fans all too willing to convince themselves their team still has a chance.
