Marcus is OUT with a left ankle contusion.

Not surprising with a game tomorrow and a blowout now. He wasn't going to play again anyways.

But what's an ankle contusion? A bruise/lump on the ankle?

Bruise.

Gotcha. Nothing serious then. They are painful, but they're easy to play through.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Losing by less than 20 is still in play.  Golden state mentally checked out mid way through the 3rd quarter and are just going through the motions.

There's no shame in getting dominated by an unfairly stacked team. I don't think any of the washington generals lost sleep getting blown out nightly by the Globetrotters.

In a way, we are extremely fortunate golden state started this season so slow.  Had they blown out the spurs in their first game, it would have hovered over this entire season like an ominous cloud.  Because they dropped a couple games early and have been nonchalantly coasting through these games, it gives the illusion they are beatable and the reality of adding one of the best players ever to a 73 win team hasn't fully sunk in for the blissfully ignorant fans all too willing to convince themselves their team still has a chance.

Seriously?

Good news: Suns pulled out the W and the Pelicans are well on their way, while the Nets are about to take a fat L.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

The Celtics are a smallish, finesse team. They have no toughness, or talented size... no Perk, or KG. They're soft.
You can't ask Crowder and Smart to be the only physical players on the floor.

You have to put this on Danny. Players like Jerebko, Zeller, Kelly, just don't cut it.

its not schtick.  It's weird to me how much fans are in denial about this warriors team. It's unprecedented.  When they start trying, this league is in trouble.  All things considered we played them extremely well tonight.  They should average 120+ this season and they should fall short of that tonight thanks to curry's dud.

Watch out when all their stars start firing on all cylinders.  We will see some historic wallopings. We are lucky it didn't happen tonight.
