I watched him at Uconn.

Dude is soft. Soft mentally, soft physically, soft emotionally.

He does not belong in the NBA.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

He seems like he wants another chance, and has worked on his game more and realizes his role in the NBA. I wouldn't be that opposed to it. We would have to clear up a roster spot, so that remains an obstacle. But he could be another great reclamation project for Brad.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You can't compare Whiteside, because he has always had untapped potential. GM's already knew he had sky high athleticism and wingspan. It was just his attitude, and his demeanor that repelled most GM's from taking a look at him.

Thabeet is finished. This guy is slow, can't even block or alter shots that well, and he has absolutely no post game for a man that tall. This dude is literally 3rd string bench warmer if that... So why waste a roster space on him, when someone like Kendrick Perkins would be more valuable than him lol.

I liked Thabeet. I was and still am shocked that Thabeet didn't at the very least become an above average backup center. He did some good things defensively for OKC.

Hey I haven't given up on getting into the league either, right? Could happen. I suppose
