tuned in the red claws game just in time to see him hit three beautiful threes and a drive down the middle for a two handed jam -scored 28 points and 3 steals
he has a 40inch jump with 7-1 wingspan-

It'd be nice to see him get some  run in the real NBA. How else can we know. I don't think we'll miss James youngs efforts very much.

"The real deal" because of a Red Claws game? Really?

Hold your horses. I'd like to see him on the NBA floor before we crown him as the "real deal"

What exactly does 'the real deal' mean anyway?  A bench contributer, a borderline starter, an emergency off the bench option with a break on emergency tag?

Nader played well enough to impress DA.  I want him to get a shot.  But it doesn't look good for him if we have 3 recent injuries and he doesn't get a call up.  Probably end up being in Maine all year.  If he does well with that he gets another shot at training camp next year.  I hate to say that because I am an ISU alumni and I want him to play.

Nadar isn't on the roster so he can't just be called up.  I assume he needs to be signed to a contract to play for the celts.

Yes.  Absent a roster space clearing trade, Nader is not playing for the Celtics this year.  I'm glad he's doing well though.  He'll get a chance to compete for a roster spot in training camp next year.

my bad...this is correct.  he wasn't assigned to the d-league.  he was signed to the d-league.
either way, next year he will probably get a summer league / and maybe training camp invite and whatever happens will depend on that.

his three point shot is effortless,he has ability with his length and vertical to finish closeouts, runs the court and gets steals
nothing feels pressured-real deal means his summer league and portsmouth tournament were not a fluke
he improved his last season and has continued to improve-he has athleticism, elite length,40inch vertical and solid physique-a great start
it looked like what he did translates
i watched red claws during halftime and after celts finished and i'm in europe
so it was late late
and i was as impressed as watching him in summer league
spot up threes were like money in bank
