If he's making shots, he's an all around excellent player.  I'm loving what I'm seeing.

And I'm kind of sick of hearing about Randle every time there is a Smart thread, but I just thought of someone else- Dante Exum.  Seems like just about everyone on this blog would have taken Exum, not Randle, if Exum were available.  Exum isn't looking so great.

He's getting better and I'm really happy for him.

Love his talent, tenacity and work ethic.

Once this team gets EVERYONE back and HEALTHY look out.

Shooting has always been his Achilles heel.  If he can fix that it will shore up his big weakness and make him a better player.

It is going to interesting to see when Crowder and Horford return from injury how it will affect Smart's minutes and shot attempts.
You have got 6 guys including Olynyk capable of putting up offensive numbers.
You could say that Thomas, Bradley, Crowder, Smart and Olynyk are still on a upward path in their career arcs.
Someone is going to have to sacrifice their 'numbers' to make things work.

I think as long as their are multiple 35%+ shooters on the floor, he'll get way more open looks and he'll find open team mates. His best shot is the wide open 3 as he steps into it coming off the pick or pulling up. He seems to get the most arc on these shots for some reason- possibly from getting better lift with he knees bent more.

I'm really excited to see a lineup of

IT
Avery
Jae
Kelly
Horford

with Smart coming in for either IT or AB with those 3 bigs.

Our spacing is going to be incredible and our defense with Marcus, AB, Jae and Horford in a single line up is going to be up there with the toughest in the NBA.

another solid night for Marcus. Just all over the box score and excellent defense. He somehow ended up -3 in plusminus but was clearly keeping us in this game.

15 points, 50%fg, 50% 3pfg, 4 steals, 3 assists, 6 rebounds.

Excellent night.

marcus post ups down low just show how much potential he still has in him-his 3 pt percentage would be even better if you edit those end of quarter heaves and 24 second clock shots he is forced to put up-

Is "single-handedly lost game for team in the last minute" a column in the stat sheet?

Single-handedly? What about Bradley and his ill-advised 3 over Davis, or Kelly with that awful foul?
I'm bitter.

Well he had an enormous rebound with 1 min 21 seconds left in the 4th to give us another open look (which Olynyk missed).

The pass at the end was unfortunate, but if not for him we'd have lost by 12-15 points.

No, but it is in the "relentlessly negative posting" spreadsheet. You filled that column up very well.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

So after that game where I praised them for finally giving Smart the ball, they again park him in the corner where he can't be effective down the whole stretch of the game.

Bradley has gotten way better off the dribble, no doubt, but it's gone to his head.  He is no PG and he's starting to act like hit how he tries to take every pick and roll on and pounds the ball.  Smart is better with the ball!  Give him the ball and play off ball.  Bradley's still a good catch and shoot player and cutter.
