I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

How in the hell could Smart be anyone's favorite Celtic!!  Instead of seeing what Smart actually is, you're seeing what you want him to be!!

TP. That was entertaining.

My favorite C is Jerebko, followed by IT and Crowdah.

I don't understand why IT doesn't get more love.

He's the best scorer we've had since the days of Prime Paul Pierce.  He's a natural 20 point per night guy.  He was born to get buckets.  It's not like he's a gunner, either.  He's efficient and he makes plays for others.

This team would be pretty tough to watch without IT, even if they played even better D and scrapped hard for everything.
personal preference perhaps? i love IT, but he does turn to "hero ball" a more than i like.

besides, i love watching great defense more than great offense. that is just me.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Wow. Only 2 votes for IT is surprising. I voted Smart but IT would've been my second choice.

I just love watching Smart out-work guys. Smart had, easily, my favorite highlight of last season, diving on the ball when the opposing PG was walking the dog. Brilliant.

I guess I just like having a guy on the floor who is a born scorer.  I like knowing where a good chunk of the team's points are going to come from.  It's cool knowing that if I tune into a Celts game I will atleast get to enjoy a handful of possessions in which Isaiah manages to get  a bucket in a way that doesn't seem possible given his frame.

I should say I'm also really excited to see Horford excel in green under Stevens, but he hasn't been here long enough.  Plus, Thomas will always have a special place during this current iteration of the Celts, because of how noticeably the team's trajectory changed as soon as he came to town.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Avery Bradley

He's our link to the past.

Also, he's such a hard working, good kid.

I voted for Avery too.  Really wet behind the ears when he first got here.  He has made so much progress as a player, and to me he is really a fav to root for.

But those first seasons with him and the big3 were fun to watch.  His effort on D was inspiring, and so was his effort to play through the shoulder injuries.  I loved how he would come in and pick guys up full court, it would really get the older guys going, esp KG.  The huge block on Dwade in the series with Miami, and the tough d pushing for the comeback attempt against the knicks in the playoffs.  He is what a celtic should be.
