If Crowder has the same serious ankle type sprain Smart had a year ago , he could be really not right for months .    Hoping it's more of a minor sprain like Smart just returned from.

Al 's injury is scary sounding.

He was KO ' d by Zeller ....  ;)

Are we still pretending Smart's struggles were the result of secret injuries?

i mean, it does take awhile to get back into game shape after ankle sprains. and smart's injury looked pretty bad, at least from the eye test. but you know marcus, he exaggerates everything lol
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Nope, just a lack of skill.

Marcus' sprain a few years ago was a lot more severe. Didn't he miss closer to a month? I think Jae's is relatively mild, and wouldn't expect too many issues when he gets back (unless his recovery takes longer than initially expected - say, if he misses another week or two)
I'm bitter.

High ankle sprains are worse than low ankle sprains.  Crowder has the low type I have heard.

I expect to see Horford out there tonight.. I have no evidence to prove that, guess you can say it's just a hunch.
Big market prime time national game.. Time to man up

Smart said at the end of the season that he had bad problems with the ankle all season.

Are you still pretending the Nets were ever winning more than 25 games last season?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

The fact that he traveled with the team on the last away game (although he was eventually sent back) make me feel confident he will play tonight.

Game-time decision is an improvement!  Im guessing it just depends how he does on his test when he shows up to the Garden, and it likely means he tested well yesterday.
