Yeah, they drafted better then Philly in my opinion to but still, I'm not sold on any of their young players. Randle should be a good player but he's not a game changer (like Smart). Ingram is not getting serious minutes already in a team fighting for not to be a dweller is a interesting thing. I know he's not there physically but hes playing what 10 minutes? Ok, they are bringing him slowly but then again to me those are signs that does not sound good. If you are not a serious team and you have No.2 pick in your team and you're not playing him... Nance is a good kid, he could be serviceable big off the bench. Clarkson is a solid version of Lou Williams with little better D. Russel is a good player but I don't like his motor, his defense and lack of athleticism. Another interesting thing, besides his questionable character, is he got no jumpshot. He's not jumping while he's shooting jumpers. Usual he get away with that because of his hight advantage vs smaller guards, but I don't like it...
I started scouting Ingram when he was a soph in hs and even then I was on this board proclaiming him to be at the top of the draft. People on CB said I was crazy and etc etc etc but when he had that real slow start at Duke I honestly began to question what the heck was going on with him. Certain players "speak" to me when they play and Ingram was one of them. I deservedly got a ton of flack from personal friends and CB posters during Ingrams slow start at Duke........then the kid (Ingram) that was 1 year younger than most college freshman broke out...and that's all she wrote.

Ingram IMO is essentially going through the same hurdles that caused his slow start in college. He is almost a year younger than Jaylen Brown and Jaylen is not old for his age or anything like that. Due to the NBA's increased game schedule over college and that Ingram is a full-time basketball player and not a student IMO he should be looking much better in a month or so....WHICH IS A BOLD STATEMENT SIR lol

Sorry...what? He's an elite shooter. He's a Curry-lite. Who cares if he's not "jumping" when he's shooting? The number's arent great, but he has all the tools and mechanics.

Ice in his veins.

Is he inconsistent? definitely. but to say he doesnt have a jumpshot is inaccurate.

Regarding the OP, though, yes, i agree. The Lakers have done a fantastic job drafting. Literally every one of their recent picks look to be hits. The degree of success will vary (for example, I dont like Randle that much, but I like Nance a lot), but theyre all good picks.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
