How soon can we do it ?

Can we do it ?

Is it a thing where it will be next season, because of the Zizic/Rookie Contract ?
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I agree JM needs to play with more desperation.  He made a nice J yesterday.  Did his job boxing out (none of the guys he was guarding grabbed O boards)

And you cant be mad at him bc Lebron scored on him a few times.  Not many can stop Lebron 1 on 1

While I'm not completely positive of his contract buyout, I'm fairly certainly this could happen tomorrow.  The Celtics chose to keep his cap hold this summer, which means he doesn't have to wait a year.

While I don't expect such a move to happen soon, I would be surprised but not shocked if he were brought over after the trade deadline.

How about we don't ruin Zizic by being impatient with him? Lets calm down a bit, he's beasting on an inferior league not unlike what Mickey did last year in the D League.

Give him some more time, let him get that confidence sky high and hopefully by this time next year we will have a spot for him. I don't know, I feel like there's a lot of knee jerk, short term thinking going around these parts lately. We are 5 games into an 82+ game season and have yet to have 1 game at full strength.

Mickey hasn't  really been given enough opportunity to build his confidence level and show what he can do. Part of the problem is Stevens simply prefers Zeller. I doubt he values inside players up front who can rebound vs guys who can pass and pick n' roll outside. That's his style of play.

We're not winning a title this year, so what's the rush?

Let him build confidence, while not burning a year of his rookie scale contract.

The only risk is he plays so well that he gets a huge contract offer overseas. I'm not sure what the status of his current contract is overseas; that may not even be an option for him.

I thought Mickey's D was solid yesterday. Though he still looks a little out of sorts. He needs reps to get his confidence up.

TP   I think it is given gas by a desire to see the future now. I am excited by what Zizic might be in this team. I know we need to wait until the time is right. He is still growing and developing. I haven't spoken to Zizic but I imagine he is excited about being a Celtic, when the time is right.

Given the injuries, I think the season is going well. The team is mostly playing like a super well prepared and motivated CBS team. Better is to come once we have a full roster.

Golden State and Cleveland could have key players injured by the time the playoffs roll around. Danny still has a vault full of assets and could make a mega-trade. Jaylen looks like the real deal. Is it too early to predict the Hall of Fame? We just have too many guys banged up right now. We could win the title this year.
