I'd be willing to be we land with a 4-6 pick... Nets play really hard and have no reason to tank. Don't expect the first pick or even a top 3.

This. Even if we end with a top 2-3 spot we are still extremely likely to end up in the 4-5 range.

The good news this year is that there appears to be an abbundance of good young players. Fultz, Smith, Giles, Tatum, Jackson, Isaacs, Bolden, Allen, Rabb would all be nice additions to this team and all have pretty high ceilings. Obviously we want the highest pick possible for value purposes, but getting the 6th pick isnt as awful as it would have been last year.

With the 1st, seeing as nothing has been played yet I probably take Fultz. Looks like a great future lead guard, and has no injury concerns.

I think we won't be making that pick anyways... It will be gone in a deadline trade.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Number 1 I might take Josh Jackson... or Dennis Smith... or Fultz.

This year is a good one to not have to end up with the #1 pick. Top 5 could be just as good. We'll see.

If Boston doctors clear his knees, I think Harry Giles would fit well with Big Al Hortford.

It's way too early to even worry about this, considering the pick itself could go a number of ways and how many times the top prospects change by the end of the college season.

for now. but let's wait and see how the rankings shift over the season. there is commonly a lot of shuffling as we learn more about each player.

the nets had no reason to tank last season. but they stunk.

they traded their starting PF and sat lopez for the last week or two of the season. they might just pack in the season by trading away people for picks and youngsters. who knows?

Are you implying that Skal, who was #2 at this time last year, did not end up being the second best prospect?

Fultz, Jackson, or a healthy and cleared Giles. I haven't looked too much into this draft class yet, but I do know that Josh Jackson is THE typical Danny Ainge pick.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Anthony Davis? Paul George? Andre Drummond?  :P

Still not sure a #1 pick in a package would even be enough for any of those three (maybe PG13 or Drummond)? Definitely not Davis, he alone will command half the team and future picks lol.
