I know. I know. We are only three games into the season, still way too early.

But the Pacers needed OT to take down the Mavericks at home, lost to the Nets (what?) and today they struggled against Chicago and were even down 30 to them at one point.

Experts projected them to be the 2nd or 3rd seed in the East. They might be overrated though. Besides PG13 and Turner, they don't have much.

Remember three weeks ago, Jackie Mac. stated on CSNNE there could be "unusual movement in the market" this season because of superteams like Golden State and Cleveland? Then she mentioned LaMarcus Aldridge as a surprise trade candidate. That's NOT happening (why would it), but could PG13 possibly be on the trade block if Pacers keep struggling this season?

I doubt it, but if he was, Larry would want a boat load of players, picks, etc.

Do you really want to break up/give up our boat load of young developing players for a single star who still won't get us past GSW or CLE?

I wouldn't but it would definitely be a topic of discussion if he was in trade talks.

I hope Cousins wants out and Kings struggle. Kings could move him with Boston having some more leverage due to Cousins wanting out and they may not need to give up "everything" to get him (at least not IT, Horford and one of Bradley/Crowder). Maybe even Brown could stay...

George moves the needle on the Celtics .

I think DA keeps a close eye on that situation .

Omg I completely forgot about Teague lol. Include him in that "Pacers don't have much besides PG13 and Turner" part of this post.

I don't think he moves the needle as much as Cousins would.. But definitely DA will monitor the situation. Maybe he and Bird still have some love for each other lol?

What would you give up for PG13 IF the opportunity came...?

No thanks. His price tag would be too much, unless they only demand the BKN picks and couple of our second units outside Brown and Smart.

I would definitely include Crowder in the deal, as George can take his place in the lineup and Crowder's contract would be a nice low cost high talent return for Indy.  It would take a lot more but the C's would have to give to get in this scenario.

I'm fine with getting him.  I don't consider him a superstar, though.

PG13 doesn't strike me as someone who would fit easily into Brad Stevens system. He's a high volume shooter. We need someone who can still contribute on the court, even when they have cold nights on offense.

Boogie Cousins or Blake Griffin would probably provide more versatility

IT4 fits just fine.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Salary dump deal for Larry Legend--

Orlando gets Thad Young & our 18' first, Indiana gets Crowder, Rozier, Amir, Jonas, Young, 2017 Bkl first;  C's get George & Ibaka.

Thoughts?

Pacers biggest mistake was firing Vogel.  I think you will see them do worse than projected while the Magic will at least perform to expectations, if not exceed them, because of Vogel.
