Both have 1 more year left on their contracts....who's worth more to this team? Who are you willing to pay? And which one is the most replaceable?

I'm interested to see how each grows, and how they contribute to the team's overall chemistry.

Would love to hear your thoughts or ideas

  • takes.....MAKES!!!!
I have been vocal about this in the past.

IT4 goes - replaced by MS and TR.  By summer of 2018 both these kids will be ready.

AB thrives several more years in Beantown.

Why not both? I doubt we can sign big name FA in 2018 and signing them might ruin the chemistry the team have built by sending many of its pieces to other teams just to save cap space.

Bradley. If Smart makes the leap many of us think he will, imagine the duo those two could be. Smart just needs to up his three point shot to at least average before that can happen, though.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I'll be honest with you, I'm leaning towards Bradley over IT. Avery offers a little more in terms of providing defense AND being a pretty decent shooter.

Isaiah, for all his toughness and scoring ability, has limitations on defense due to his size.

But Isaiah offers leadership....and I don't know who's gonna fill that void

I was 100% behind the trade for IT because his contract was so cheap for his offense. On the other hand, he is still really short and that is tough to work around. When he faces teams who can shut him down, where else does he contribute?

The ideal lineup for this team would be a larger elite scorer and IT as 6th man. Sure, he can put up stats in the regular season starting. But I'm skeptical than we can get far in the playoffs with him in such a vital role.

To be fair, IT was a big reason we even won two games in that Hawks series.

Without IT no doubt we are getting swept and the Celtics only average like 60 points per game (because besides IT and Turner some games.. NO ONE was shooting well).

Even if IT was in a 6th man role it makes no difference. Bottom line right now, they need a star like Griffin or Cousins to put them into true contention. They both are scorers as well but also bigs who can rebound (another HUGE need for this team).

Both will stay. We can afford to pay everyone. The only question is if we can acquire another piece before re-signing them. Then it becomes about what we are giving up

Both stay.
No reason to jeopardize what we have going right now.
