Rozier looked fantastic in the fourth quarter tonight. He made so many solid passes and his finish at the rim was a heady play. Brown continues to impress at finding separation near the rim.

If I was Danny I would not take trade offers on either one of these guys. They are going to end up being special players.

Special player or good rotation player?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Special players don't have flashes.

I am excited about Brown's potential though because he is so young and already contributing.

I am with the OP here.  It is very exciting to contemplate their continuing development, and will be very fun to actually watch it happen.  DA - please do not trade either one of these guys.

Not familiar with "buy low, sell high"? You get elite players by trading guys other teams believe could be very good.

Brown clearly has the potential.  Rozier on the other hand doesn't do much for me.

Brown will be great. He's consistently helping the team out while still developing, playing off the bench. Rozier is good but I'm still waiting for him to have a breakout game. He's an okay defender but he's worse than people expected him to be.

Brown is not only progressing on the court but off. He has made significant progress on the fluidity of his 3pt shot since summer league. I'm not giving him up with a Net's pick for Cousins....some people believe it will take 2 Nets picks and Brown....that is stupid

I do think getting Jahlil Okafor would help this team but I don'y know what it would take to get done. I'd trade Terry for him or Smart.

I don't want to trade several pieces of our future core to get one elite player now.  Just my opinion - I know others crave trading for a current all-star.

I think Brown is a future all-star and Terry will be close to an all-star.  I am willing to patiently wait while they (and others) develop.  Let GSW and CLE have their fun now, then I look forward to a long Spurs like run by the Celts.

I firmly support the development, growth path, which is a slower path, but I hope a longer contending path.  I only have interest in acquiring current talent by free agent signings, not trading away any valuable pieces.

Rozier still has a long way to go, but Jaylen is well on his way to being an All-Star.

Three games into his NBA career, he's already making contributions to the team.

Nothing wrong with that approach if a GM likes his players. The problem is that we often see a pattern where fans want to trade the guys who didn't pan out and don't want to trade anyone until it is too late.

It is easy to think about young players with the hope people have when they buy lottery tickets.

Rozier needs a lot of work on D but his quickness and handle is impressive. He's also getting his first real chance in the rotation. Give him some time to get more comfortable and then we'll see him looking for his offense more. Right now he's defering a lot.

Special players do show flashes.  They all start from somewhere.

As soon as Rozier figures out that defenses are scared of his ability to penetrate and collapse the defenses, he will be starting quality. It seems like his jumpshot and making the right reads are there, but what will make him special is his ability to drive and finish.

He is just not confident enough in his ability yet.
