Lol.

I'm not a fan either.

Unfortunately we need his filler contract for potential trades. Otherwise he'd be at the top of my list for guys to cut, he is just such a turnstile on defense, and he seems totally unwilling to get his hands dirty on rebounds.

LOL. But beware of the defense when Stevens plays two white guys up front not named Bird and McHale.

He's probably not the worst, but he's in the conversation. Actually he's serviceable on offense, but simply not aggressive enough on D. He gives up position much too easily, and plays with little hunger or passion.

If you go by BPM or RPM, he is basically near D-League level. The eye test confirms this, as does simpler stats like +/-

Tyler really stuffed the stat sheet tonight, in particular I love the 2 rebounds, 1 assist, -19 +/- rating

He's very lazy on defense and rebounds. He doesnt fight for things. He'd be a starter if he played with Smart's hustle.

Zeller isn't even in the conversation.  Our beloved Mickey is far, far worse.

Every time he's involved in the offense, he either

a) travels
b) does a moving screen
c) fumbles the ball out of his hands

And it's scary because his offense is better than his defense.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You do realise that RJ Hunter and James Young are currently NBA players, right?

I bet he would do well there.   I think he is dead weight a lot of the times in games.   But he is practice body and emergency big.   He would be a lot better, if he realized that he needs to box out.   There is a reason he plays a head of some of these guys in the rotation.  That being said, in a just world he would be sent packing after this woeful preseason.  Sometimes he acts as if the game is a joke with his attitude, he seems here for the check more than winning.

He's the worst player on the Celtics' 15-man roster, whoever ends up being on it. I firmly believe that.

Seriously, what happened to him? This was our opening night starter two years ago. He was never a great rebounder or defender, but he can barely keep his balance or sheet the mid-range jumpshot any more.

I am a Zeller hater but he is not the worst player in the NBA or probably that close.
