He's forced his way into the rotation.  I like that his shooting seems to have really come around.

To be fair, Turner's departure forced him into the rotation. He's shown glimpses and is definitely exciting though, just young. As someone else mentioned, the game just hasn't slowed down for him yet. But, hopefully it will. Replacing Turner will be a test of his bball IQ.

Bet we will both love and hate him throughout the season, and hopefully he elevates his game in the playoffs like Smart.

Green, too. He can suck all year, for that matter, but we need him come playoffs-- time to get out of the first round.

It is really funny to see how positive this place is on Terry considering it seemed like just about everyone felt like it was a wasted pick by DA ....

 :-\
Yup.  The rozier pick was pretty much panned by just about everybody on this board.

OT: I wonder how's a Rozier vs Dunn comparison.

I'm predicting a significant difference between them, already, will be Dunn's size.

I'll fess up: I was ticked when Danny drafted him; I had no idea who he was, and hadn't seen him linked to the Cs in any mocks.

By the end of last season, though, I liked what I was seeing from him. He's not the biggest PG, but he seems to use his size and athleticism really well.

He's got the entire package to be great. I love the way their developing him & bringing him up. Perfect situation.

I'm thinking the same, but would Dunn's Size make him more effective than Rozier? We might see this during or after the season. Maybe a lot would some take Dunn over Brown. I would still be a brown supporter, I think whatever Dunn Can do Rozier could do it but too early for me to tell.

Out of the gate, yeah, Dunn is going to be a beast. We'll be lucky if Rozier reaches his ceiling, though I'm high on him right now.

Genuinely think he's equally athletic, and may even have a similar ceiling to Dunn. They're just different -- Rozier relies more on quickness, Dunn more on strength. He hasn't shown a high enough BBIQ to give us confidence he can pick up where Turner left off. But Rozier's going to need to have/develop a solid BBIQ to make good on his quickness. IMHO, I think he'll either bust or surpass expectations.

Funny. I looked both of them up just to see who was older than the other and, holy crap, they are ONE DAY APART. Rozier is one day older than Dunn.

Yep, it's promising for us. I just hope he can slow the game down... if he can, I think he'll be a steal... and same with Brown. Yabu was a stretch, but DA can fall back on the "stash" year. Though he could've easily taken Zizic at 16.

I love Rozier, but I think hes going to be trade bait during the trade deadline.

Demetrius Jackson is going to be the next man up.

Not just a TR comment but my overall excitement for the season is growing. The young players will play beyond their years because Stevens is the mature leader they need and the team has enough experience through the senior players. The mix is really good and TR proving he is not out of place is a bonus.

rozier can shoot -dunn can't
a couple inches is meaningless with roziers wingspan
rozier has quick vertical married to those long arms makes him a very good rebounder
i think d league last season really helped rozier get acclimated
dunn has a long way to go and may never shoot like rozier or even jackson

My bold prediction for this year is that Rozier averages less than 15 mins per game, doesn't play the point primarily in that time and gets traded before the year is over.

He's an exciting player but he hasn't shown he can run our sets, he over dribbles and he seems to love hero ball a bit much. It works against these pre season teams but he'll struggle against a lot of 2nd string back courts. Looks much better off the ball.

Edit: to clarify, I think he'll look good this season but it won't be at pg and he won't outshine our main 3 guard rotation of IT, Bradley and Smart. And Green will be more than ready to take minutes off of him too

I also predict Dunn will have more size. ;)

Solid prediction if this is before last season. It's a new season, and this talented youngster looks darn good.

I could possibly see this too.  Green, Brown, Jerebko, KO not even back yet.  There's a lot of guys pushing for minutes.  I think Brown just has to play at least 15 a game and Green seems like he might bring something to the team in scoring we really need.
