Danny's one of the true big game hunters in the NBA.

But he's also proficient at foraging for nuts and berries.

And when Jaylen combines JC and GG's games, he'll be pretty impressive.

I'm trying to decide whether his eye for underappreciated talent or Brad's ability to make anyone look good had more to do with the success of both Turner and Jordan Crawford

i think it always comes down to brad. im sure danny brought in quite a few reclamation projects when doc was around. now, unless my memory serves me right, i dont recall any uptick in league-wide value for any of those guys when doc was around  (i was also younger and didnt follow the celtics as intensely back then, so maybe im forgetting someone)
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Green is here to help the C's win now and he showed what he can do today.  Brown is the future, he will not help the C's win this year and also showed that today.

Can we not gripe too much about Green taking PT away from Brown...geez
Its a good problem to have...its a freakin long season and both players will get PT..Brown will even get minutes at the 4 and Green might is an insurance to play the 2 if anything happens to AB MS and Roz....I like that we can utilize Green better than ehat Miami and the Pacers did...and pleezz.what so wrong about Green jackin up shots if he was brought in to do that in thefirst place..what do we want him to do stand in the corner or be passive..we already have those in James Young ...I want Green to be Ultra aggressive when he is on the floor and lead as a veteran should.

isaiah said it,brad said it and tommy said it
green is the catalyst that boston had missed for several years-
he can get to the hoop in a different way than brown ,he is shifty
no more watching young miss and attempt pathetic drives to hoop,no more hoping for rj to start making his shot
green could have a breakout year with isaiah and brad

I applaud ainge and crew for the buy cheap projects, green, crawford, even zeller and of course turner.  I'm not sure Green is for sure going to take sf minutes away from "the kid".
Green is instant offense but I'd say at this point brown is already a better rebounder, playmaker, passer and defender.

I don't like Green taking minutes from Brown.

Minutes are earned. Green can do alot of things that Brown cannot do.
I think they'll see some time together.  I like the fact that we have three tremendous athletes with some spring in their step. (insert Rozier here) The pace should really be fast. And the tempo should open up alot of options.

from the second i did my homework on green and isaiah while with the suns i was hooked-this guy likes to run and elevate
and he can shoot- ,close out to fast and he is gone
he used his elevation to create space on pull ups against the hornets, showed a euro step with some elevation and a finesse score on kaminsky
i could here it and see it in brads eyes
he was excited to get this vet that fits in his idea of basketball and can score in bunches

As Rainmaker said, minutes are earned. If Green gets hot and Brown makes a bunch of rookie mistakes, Brad will give those minutes to Green. So be it...Brown is young and has time to develop.

Brown is 19 and Green is 30 on a 1 year contract. I think Brown needs minutes to develop but Brown is so young and Green probably won't be around next season. Having competition for the minutes could be just as good as being handed them. Especially is Brown earns those minutes and makes Green less of a necessity.
