He appears very raw, but he reminds me a bit of Steven Adams in the way he's built and moves around on the court.

I'd say he will make a pretty solid zeller replacement in a year or two! I like his effort!

If that's all he can do, that'll be disappointing for where he was picked.

My hopes are a little higher (rotational big).

I am not sure that "disappointing" would be a fair characterization if he has a career similar to Zeller.  He is a 23rd pick who was willing to go away for a couple of years and come back when we need him more (or be used in a trade).  Even to say he will be Zeller is a big if though.  It is still pretty much impossible to project the future talent/ability of a 19 year old with any accuracy.

he likes to bang, likes to rebound offensively thats not zeller
-zeller had a killer mid range in 2015 and uses both hands with soft touch on flip hooks and runs the court all day-zeller is quite skilled

In a couple years he could be a key rotational player, and that's just fine for the 23rd pick in the draft.

It was a smart pick by Ainge. The Celtics didn't have the roster spot and wanted to maintain cap space, so they needed stashable guys. Zizic is super young, a hard worker, good motor. Roll the dice and see what he becomes.

One concern I have is that the 7-footer who can't shoot from deep and handle the ball is falling by the wayside in the modern NBA. But then I recall guys like Steven Adams (already mentioned), Bogut, etc. You still need guys like that on your roster to win a title.

He reminds me of a center version of Aaron Gordon.

Maybe he can get even bigger if he can hang on the rim longer and maybe do some extra chinups.

Not sure about that Comp Walker, Zizic is a solid athlete, But Gordon is probably a better athlete than Brown.

Yeah it would take a bit to get Zizic into the elite athleticism category.  He can block shots though.

My guess is we have different takes on Zeller. TZ is coming into his prime as a third stringer on a competitive, but not dominant, Celtics team that is weakest up front. If that's what Zizic pans out as, IMO that will be disappointing.
