Most talented player/ best trade chip this year at the #16 spot was Henry Ellenson IMO.

Yabus defense is really bad first impression watching a live game. He hardly reacts to anything. I say Ellenson ends up a better defender due to his size and BBIQ, he's also a better rebounder.

If I was OK with his medicals I would have taken Levert, perfect Turner replacement if healthy.

Yabu you suck get better fast, Steven's will hardly play him if he can't defend.

LOL....the first preseason game for Yab barely just started!! At least let game 1 finish before dumping on him.

No way! He's Garbage Guy! Lol!

Seriously though Portis was a top 12 player in the draft last year and I was surprised to see him available. I know Rozier has "Upside" but Portis was clearly the better player, more ready, and was 6'10"

I have my doubts Ellenson would have agreed to be stashed somewhere for a year

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.

If not, then I'll just say this: you're making an awfully early judgement
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Rozier so far this offseason sounds like he's primed for a breakout though , just in time to fill in for ET. I guess we will see soon enough. I love this time of year leading up to the NBA season!

I think you're right but I really wouldn't put it past this blog.

If you think Yab's D is bad then Ellenson is probably not the player for you. The knock on him coming out of college is his lack of foot speed and effort on defense.

I see the theory that Yabu has better footspeed, he does. However Yabusele doesn't hardly move unless you give him the ball then suddenly he's all effort.

Draymond Green He is not. He's the opposite of Draymond. He could be good at the selfish scorer role, Just a really odd fit for this team.

Seems like an anti Stevens player.

This could easily have been our big man rotation this year. Don't sign Zeller. Could have dumped Jonas if necessary.

 Horford/Ellenson/Olynyk
 Amir/Portis/Jonas

That would have made the team better.

Are we watching the same game? Because Yabusele is constantly moving off the ball, setting tons of screens, going to offensive rebounds, boxing out, what else do you want him to do?
Warning: I am a Marucs Smart homer

wouldn't have to be, just use the spot for Jackson for Ellenson
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
