Will Jaylen Brown at some point in season become the new starting SF?

Will Brown outplay Crowder to the point CBS has no choice but start him eventually?

In terms of talent at the same age, no question Brown > Crowder.  In terms of ceiling , again Brown > Crowder.   Right now , Crowder has earned the right to start at the sf spot.   But is he really a backup sf that has been overachieving.

Probably those two can play together in a variety of situations. To the extent  that it's still valid to use the old one through five designations,  it's easy to imagine that Brown could play shooting guard, à la Jimmy Butler, and Crowder played plenty of two when he was in Dallas.

 And let's not get ahead of ourselves with Brown. A lot can happen in a season,  but at this point it's hard to imagine, even in the best case scenario, that he would be a starter at any point in his rookie year.

I think Brown will start a couple of games due to injury, but he won't become the starter (since Crower will be starting again when he comes back)
