RJ Hunter showed enough to keep him towards the end of the roster for future considerations. His problem is the same as Marcus Smarts'. Both of them need to produce as shooters. Marcus will always be in the league based on his natural talent with defense. Hunter is going to have to work overtime practicing and even then he may still end up on the bubble for an NBA player.

I think once Young is gone, guys like Hunter will be the next to lack job security and need to improve asap whether in practice or the D League.

Danny is stashing and accumulating assets. It gives him greater odds to develop diamonds in the rough. It also makes it more likely he will make wrong decisions going forward on who to keep and who to cut or trade.
