just watched naders summer league, that guy put together a real nice audition
jackson and nader could be quite a pairing
nader has a big advantage elite wingspan 7-1 and a good frame-he had a good portsmouth tournament to add to summer league
like his stroke-our guys don't hit threes and he does-what effect would 10 day contract do to his rights

That's a good question.  I think C's retain his draft rights while he is on the D-league contract, but if they sign him to a 10-day for the purpose of calling him up, I would guess C's lose his rights if they don't re-sign him after 10 days.  This is just an uneducated guess.

Also, if they sign him to a 10-day, it means someone else has to get cut if they are at the roster limit.

Really looking forward to the Claws season, I usually catch quite a few games.

Nader will be fun to watch. I doubt the C's sign him until next offseason, or they'd risk losing him unless they cut someone else.

I also hope Bentil agrees to go there is he doesn't make the c's roster, though he could be signed by any team once cut from the big squad (which is why we need a legit minor league system). I expect Jackson/Mickey/Hunter to get some time down there as well.

Levi Randolph and Omari Johnson will hopefully be back, though they are good enough that they will probably get swiped up somewhere else eventually, probably in Europe.

Thornton played for the Claws some last year after playing first in Australia. His play in Maine didn't exactly excite me. Apparently he's signed to a deal in Italy for a couple years, so it's unlikely he's back.

Regardless, they will be stacked. Would be nice to win a D-league title while the parent team is competing for a high seed in the NBA playoffs.   :D

Mickey is going to have another big year in Maine. The "Free Mickey" threads will be everywhere.

I don't watch many red claw games if at all. Are they even televised? I'm assuming sometimes the get posted on youtube.  I watch highlights usually and I agree though.  We have some players worth watching over there. I hope James Young if he gets cut still ends up with the  Red Claws.  I'm still a fan of Young. He's so young.

Nader and Jackson are interesting players. Hunter may even spend some time there even still.  I hope Hunter makes the big club though.

All d-league games are live streamed on YouTube, and the d-league's own website provides links to all those YouTube links.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.
