In this interview Jaylen Brown becomes the Apple of my eye. The Jam in a Peanut butter sandwich. The frosting on a cake.

When Adande asks him the same stupid moronic ridiculous celebrity question they ask every young athlete. Brown crushes the answer. I won't reveal it see for yourself.

It's at 3:30 seconds in the video. He listens to Jazz before a game to calm his mind, and he likes Marvin Gaye. Truly and old soul. Love this kid.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
His brother just became a defensive tackle for the Oakland Raiders too.

Cool kid.

'No comment'. lol.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Tp Chambers! I'm really rooting for this kid now!

Also his mom calls him "old man" because he moves slow? His dad must have been really fast.

I was thinking he acts like an old man.

When he did that Q And A on Twitter recently, he said that Lauryn Hill was his favorite artist. Kids a beast.

I loved this interview when I saw it on the summer league stream. How often have you seen an nba player with his level of poise, confidence, and intelligence during interviews? All while he is only a rookie. He seems like he is going to be one of my few athletes that I will actually like to hear interviews done with.

Should be a fun process watching this kid mature into a smooth talking, clean dressing, athletic beast who wants to dunk all over the other team.

Personality wise I hope he develops into a superstar and we get to see him play his career in green.

On who he's looking forward to playing: Lebron, KD, Klay, Steph. They say be careful what you ask for...I'm asking for it. Lol

Cool, smart, funny, charming, poised . . .

He's definitely a very likeable young man.  Let's hope he can produce on the court as well as he has off it so far.

* Georgios Papagiannis went to the rookie photo shoot without a number on his Kings jersey. "You didn't make the team?" Jaylen Brown asked.

* Jaylen Brown spoke French with Pelicans' Cheick Diallo and Spanish with Nuggets' Juan Hernangomez. Hernangomez complimented Brown on his Spanish.

* Brown then asked Thon Maker about his real age. Snap too short to watch Maker's reaction.

He seems like a really quiet kid, but he's really funny as well!! And he's multilingual! It'll help when he's on the national team and they're playing against France and any Spanish speaking countries!

(Let's just hope he doesn't have to speak those languages in those countries during his playing career. I want him to be a Boston guy for life!)
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Nicely done, Jaylen!

Still a teenager and already one of the most poised Celtics interviews.
