Maybe Barbosa?  (both are not pure pgs, long long wingspan, score 1st mentality)

Not a terrible comp. Its just so hard with rozier due to our lack of truly seeing his game.

I would say he is a worse shooting barbosa that is better at driving. Also a better defensive game. I would be happy with that.

I've always thought of him in the mold of Reggie Jackson.

My upside comp for him has always been Eric Bledsoe.

Terry Rozier is a better driver than Barbosa. Barbosa doesn't create off the dribble, he attacks close outs and runs in transition. The only time he ever really attacks the basket in the half court is in the high pick and roll when there are two slower defenders and his speed is good enough to not worry as much about his handle.

Rozier can run the pick and roll and get to the basket with hesitation moves, crossovers etc...but he can't score/run in transition like Barbosa. Both lightning fast.

I agree with A Future of Stevens, in that Rozier will probably be a better defender than Barbosa in his prime.

Barbosa was a good defender though.

'Blur' refers to his speed up and down the floor.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Rozier's style of play, ability to take and make the Big Shot and build (somewhat bow legged) reminds me of THE Isaah Thomas.

If Rozier can continue his development, DA got a steal drafting him as he did.

Maybe because its his athleticism, but John Wall. With a better shot.

Thanks for pouring water on the John Wall, Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, Victor Oladipo, and better defending version of Barbosa comparisons.  ;)
