Would be a great chance for Ray to redeem himself after he left us for Miami.
Does he deserve that chance? Not in my eyes, he made his bed, now he can go sleep in it.
Agreed, but I am convinced that is not his motivation. He wants the money, it's his last chance to make some coin with his best marketable skill which is playing basketball.
This comes down to would you rather have the potential of any of Young/Hunter/Bentil or the leadership experience and shooting of a 41 year old Ray Allen?
I'll take the pups, Ray Allen is not going to make the difference in beating CLE in the East, so why bother. Team has a decent set of multi-year vets already - Horford, Bradley, Crowder, Zeller, Green, Thomas.
