Yeah, I think we would've handled them pretty well, too.

Rondo would've been an excellent bet to help contain Curry defensively, and Curry would've struggled containing Rondo's penetration;

Thompson would've been dead chasing Ray-Ray around on defense, though the same could be said about Ray-Ray;

Pierce would school Barnes both ways;

Green is way too small for KG, who would just shoot over him. Of course, taking KG out to the perimeter to guard Green would lessen his defensive impact some;

Perk and Bogut cancel each other out.

I think the 2008 Celtics team will be hard to replicate again. It was the perfect example of sacrifice and chemistry coming together all at once in the first year.

Interesting question. IMO, we could match their small ball quite well with Rondo-Ray-Pierce-Posey-KG and we could go big with Perk in there too. Rondo, in his early years when he was still trying to prove himself, was an absolute game changer. And it's easy to forget just how dominant KG was.

Maybe it's a case of nostalgia, but I take the C's in 7 games.

KG would have crushed this team inside.  And the Celtics could match up small or go big.

Celtics win this, and in 6 games. The D from the 08 squad was just too much, led by KG! I've said it before, KG was the best defensive big I have ever seen play, at least that year he was. Tony Allen would slow Klay Thompson and Rondo is quick enough to cover Curry, at least to a degree. Pierce has trouble with Iggy guarding him but Ray Allen is there to pass to.

I still think this Warriors team is overrated, 73 wins or not! If you live by the three then you die by it too. Not being able to score inside would really hurt them. Greene would pose problems but can you imagine what KG might do to him if Greene through one of those 'inadvertent' kicks that he does at KG? Wow, Kevin might implode and rightfully so.
