LMA is a better scorer and rebounder than Horford

Scorer, yes.  Rebounder, no.

Horford averages 0.5 reb more for their careers, 0.9 more per 36 career, and 0.3 less in the playoffs, but 0.7 more per 36 in the playoffs.  They're pretty much equal rebounding wise, with a slight edge to Horford.

Just interesting to me that scoring alone is worth that much to in (some/most/all) people's opinions.

LMA had poor rebounding numbers early in his career, but a lot of that had to do with playing with rebounding beasts (Oden, Przybilla, Camby). As soon as he was paired with Robin Lopez (a box out on the defensive glass guy who has always put up pedestrian defensive rebounding numbers) his rebounding soared.

Contrast with Horford who has always played with undersized combo forwards and has instead seen his rebounding decline. Early on his athleticism and motor gave him the edge in my book, but now that they're both entering their 30s, I think Aldridge's superior size, length and bulk make him the better rebounder.

Over the length of their careers maybe Horford is better, but the last 3 years Aldridge has been better. Even ignoring offensive rebounds (which the Hawks don't really chase, so that effects Horford's numbers more than Aldridges) Aldridge collected 23.5% of available defensive rebounds while Horford only collected 19.8% of defensive rebounds.

Personally I'd rather have Horford on my team (both in the cb draft and in real life) than Aldridge, but I think Aldridge is a more marquee guy when discussing who has the best big 3.

I really like my team. It's not going to be a team that gets favorable voting after this is all over, however when we look back at this league a year from now the quality of my team will be obvious.

This team has quality shooting, a lot of athleticism and plus length at every position. Russell is my smallest player at 6'5. Memphis' length is really going to bother people.

I predict that by this time next year D'Angelo, Gordon and Parker will all be the best players on their respective teams, while Saric, Roberson and WCS should all be starting for their NBA teams.

I really like Saric pickup. He looks a great fit in that mix.

Aaron Gordon = defensive stopper and glue guy
Jabari Parker = scorer, midrange and isolation
Dario Saric = playmaking forward

That is a fun mix of the skills. I really like that trio.

I like A.Roberson as well. Another defensive stopper off the bench. Useful player.

The thing with Saric is that although he makes some great passes, he has been a turnover machine.  He contributes in a lot of ways, but after watching him play a lot, I am not as sold on him as I once was.

Haven't gotten much feedback on this team outside of my co-GM AB posting a lovely writeup. I see this as a team that could make the playoffs this year in the mid-lower tier but also has one of the highest potentials with ETs team. The team can be molded to play many different styles successfully, and the inteligent players are great fits in GSs offense.

What do you guys think? I'll try and give some write-ups for other teams this afternoon.

I would move Chandler out of the starting lineup then have Porzingis at the 5, Deng at the 4, and have a 2/3 of Warren/Derozan Calderon/DeRozan or Williams/DeRozan.

Chandler looked cooked last year, Porzingis was best at the 5 last year and Deng was best at the 4.

I really like this team, my only issue is that I prefer Turner at the 5 to the 4 and would worry about the spacing of a Winslow, Turner, Adams frontcourt since two of those guys aren't shooters.

I'm a fan of most of the players on your team. I really love bringing Ingram and McBuckets off the bench to provide an infusion of shooting. Thought McRoberts in the last round was an excellent pick. Although he wasn't great last year, when he was in Charlotte they ran a lot of offense through him and he was very important to that team.
