Haven't posted in awhile as I didn't pick for a bit. What do you guys think?
PG: Eric Bledsoe/ Jeremy Lin
SG: Bradley beal/ Gerald Henderson
SF: Justice Winslow/ Brandon Ingram
PF: Myles Turner/ Doug McDermott
C: Steven Adams/ Brandon Bass
I think this team fits together really well offering the right amount of shooting, pace, defense etc. I don't have a high level star but the total is more than the sum of the parts.
I like the Bass pick -- gives you a mobile big man to put next to Turner at C when Adams isn't playing.
I hope the rotation you posted above is the way it is just because you want to have two at every position. In my mind, your rotation should look a lot more like:
PG: Bledsoe / Lin
SG: Beal / Henderson
SF: Winslow / McDermott / Ingram
PF: Turner / Bass
C: Adams
Utilize that three-man rotation at PF/C, with McDermott or Winslow taking spot minutes at PF. Something like:
PF: Turner (20) / Bass (18) / Winslow (10)
C: Adams: (32) / Turner (16)
Lin and Henderson were both great pickups given injury concerns with Bledsoe and Beal. Both can start in their place.
You do have a lot of flexibility here, with the ability to floor shooting-first, defense-first, small ball, or huge ball teams. I think that's what I like most about the team.
Ingram is an enticing prospect but kind of the odd man out here.
Aim to pick up a deep bench big, preferably with the ability to knock down a three here and there.
