Okafor is on the block... monroe too...
How about getting both giving up some picks?
1 first (clippers) + amir jj  for monroe
1 first (ours) 2018 + sixers 2nd rounder+minessota 2nd rounder+ hunter young mickey  for okafor
Okafor monroe horford olynyc... i know everyone will say where is the defence...? but 4 quality bigs ... great rebounding... with the great perimeter defence many problems will be solved

Thomas bradley smart rozier
Crowder brown
Horford olynyc monroe okafor
Not bad...........

I feel like the two are kind of redundant. Okafor is a good scorer, monroe is a good passer and rebounder. Both are terrible at defense. Both can only play center.

I think one or the other is good enough.

First off...Amir + JJ > Monroe...so no to this.

I think Okafor is Danny's back up plan at the moment--if nothing Big materializes.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Here is what people are missing with these pathetic offers for Okafor (late first round picks and seconds).  The reason people speculate that the Celts are a good trade partner is because of all the "good" assets we hold.  If what people are proposing would even be remotely considered by Philly, then they could get those from just about any other team in the league.  They wouldn't be talking to just the Celts.

Common sense people.

Sixers want a 'young' guard and 'Young' just isn't good enough.  They would want Rozier or Smart.  I might part with Rozier but wouldn't also give them a 1st rounder, unless they throw in somebody like Covington too.

What you may be missing is the fact that these offers are generally the most people would be willing to give up, not necessarily what Philly would accept.  I think most people would be more than happy to leave Philly at the table if they're looking to get one of our good picks or a good young player like Smart.  I know I would.
I'm bitter.

Young isn't good enough for any team. The only reason he's still on our team is hope that he wakes up and uses his tools.

Yeah, Young is garbage.  No value close to being out the league.  Rozier is only a step above that.  Hasn't shown much in NBA games and at least in my eye, doesn't even project as a starter in the league.  If Philly wants a Terry Rozier, they can find one on every roster in the league.

Yup.  And if that's the way DA feel about Okafor, then clearly a trade will never happen.  Might as well move on.  Fans too.
