If we're getting Griffin, then no. If we're not, sure. We wouldn't be losing one of our four core players ( Horford, Thomas, Bradley, and Crowder). I have my doubts about whether the Sixers would do this deal.

Make that deal in a second. Sixers say a big no.

I would do this.  But I don't think the Sixers are trading with us the more I think about it - unless no one else will give them what they want for Okafur and they feel like they need to unload him.

Why strengthen the team you're planning on competing with for years to come?

No.

Rozier is too talented and Olynyk is too valuable from a "wins added" perspective.  They can take young though lol

Every day and twice on Sunday.

But Philly laughs at this deal.

Okafor just isn't very valuable.  He can't rebound or play defense.  Why not just sign one of the free agent rebounder/defender centers that are available every year for mid-level deals and actually improve the team?

I know a lot of people are obsessed with Okafor's ability to hit 2 point shots, but that actually makes him less appealing in my opinion since he'll garner a bigger contract due to his stats, but won't make the impact that a lot of interior players with inferior offense will.  Basically he's going to get paid like he's Anthony Davis, but only has one elite NBA skill and everything else is mediocre.

3 scraps for a decent player. You do this every time, especially with all the draft picks we have.

I don't think Okafor will come cheap, I think Philly will want a pick'ish. But if that is all it takes,

I will pull that trigger in a heartbeat

Are you a sixers fan?

Are u serious bro? The only rotation player last year is Kelly, and he's made out of Canadian Jell-O, and your going to have to pay him 60 million next year. Still want to keep him?

If Philly makes an Okafor trade it would be to resolve the logjam at their bigs rotation.

This trade makes little sense tbh.

I don't think Okafor would be a perfect fit here, but this would easily improve the Celtics, and the Sixers would probably hang up laughing.  Even if he is acquired just as another trade asset, Okafor >>> a backup combo guard and a broke man's Ryan Anderson.

A stretch big who can shoot would help their team no doubt, Noel, Embiid, Kelly, Simmons is a great rotation.

If they wanted we keep Kelly and offer up all guards.

 Rozier, Hunter, Young, Jackson

I would accept that without second thoughts and never look back.

tbh I srlsy doubt Philly would accept it, but one can only hope

They don't have that many roster spots for 4 for 1.   Might need to find another team.

can't imagine why Philly would do that.
