I know there is all this smoke out there about acquiring another star, but count me as someone who would like it much more to just take the patient approach and just take our picks the next two years.

* If we trade for a star and thereby give up all of our assets, that's it.  Our team will only be as good as it is then ... with small improvements coming by gelling and learning to play better together.  What if it's clear that it's not enough? I much prefer having a team that clearly, just by adding young talent, will get better and better for each of the next 4-5 years.

* I'd much prefer to win with homegrown guys, then guys who I've rooted against and now need to root for becuase we trade for them.

* I've never had so much fun watching summer league and just envisioning how much better Jaylen can become.  Imagine doing this for two more years.

Go C's!  Bring on the season.
