Poll' Who's better right now Mickey or Yabu

 I think it's an easy call, because one of these guys is hot garbage, but I won't reveal who. Want to see the people speak first.

I heard the announcers say that yabu is 19.  Is that true?

Yabu shows more promise as an offensive threat this year than Mickey does.  Still think Mickey has a chance to be good but really like Yabu's energy

I'm not thowing the Mickey out with the bathwater just yet. To me Mickey seems like the kind of guy that can play his role at any level. Guys like Joel Anthony, put up the same averages regardless of the level of competition be it NBA or International. They don't turn into Hakeem just because the level of play drops off, they just stick to their game.

On the summer league team IMO Mickey was asked to put it on the floor and playmake way too often. Get him around some quality ball handlers with a more defined role and watch him thrive again.

I don't think either adds much value to this year's team.  I don't see Yabs as a true PF.  Although he's strong, and despite his long arms, he seems like a 3/4 tweener.  Mickey has more of the size and is a better shot blocker, but I'm guessing he's the one the OP considers 'hot garbage'.  I thought he had a horrible summer league.

Yabu's defense is truly atrocious right now.  I'm hopeful he'll stay with the big club to learn how to play D this year. 

I don't think either of these players is good enough to contribute at the moment.
