He's a keeper. Can knock down the 3 ball and I like how he drives during closeouts. He's also very disruptive in Defense(Ala RJ Hunter) due to his massive 7'1" wingspan.

At this point he looks more promising than Hunter.

This guy? That's an obscure 80s reference. Long overdue

I am an ISU grad, and I watched almost every game he played at ISU.  He was somewhat inconsistent as a player for the cyclones.  He started all the games as a senior, came off the bench as a junior.  Has the capability to completely go off when his shot is falling.  Single-handedly won games for ISU at times when Niang was having an off night.  When properly motivated, he can get to the rim and has good length and plays bigger than his height.  Has more speed and quickness than you think at first.

I was kind of surprised he got drafted, but happy none the less.  Maybe he gets released even before the season, I dunno.  He is a fun player to watch.  Probably a lot more ready to contribute than James Young, or a lot of our other summer league players.  Hopefully he gets a chance to at least be on the RedClaws.  It would be fun to see him in action w/ smart and bradley our other big 12 kids.
