I think we're trying to pull down Cousins' price by pursuing a deal for Blake. Great for us, the worst case is that we add Blake Griffin. Best case is that Sacramento looks at where their roster is going and lowers their own price.

who the hell is this guy?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

Meh. I don't want Blake on this team. He'll make the team redundant if Danny intends to play Horford at the PF, which may have been a big reason why we were able to sign him in the first place. Go for Boogie or make Amir play Center or get a slight upgrade at 5. I just can't see him fitting into Brad's system either. Or the Celtics' culture for that matter. Boston is a sports town, not a place for you to make KIA commercials.

I agree. I prefer Boogie, but we don't know what their asking price is. Word is, Sacramento wants ALL of our remaining Brooklyn Picks, and the rumor is Danny doesn't want to lose next year's pick, because the 17' draft class is projected to be DEEP

I think Cousins would be worth all our Nets picks, but I can see why Danny would be reluctant

Then Danny needs to sell HARD on the 2018 pick, the Memphis Pick, and the Clippers pick, because at least two of those three teams are giving us a lotto pick when one of those drafts creeps up.

Crowder, Amir, Brooklyn 2018 for Blake sounds good to me. Still need him to agree to take player option or sign the Harden extension now to make it happen.

If you don't have to give up the '17 pick, you absolutely do this deal because you get two years of him being 12million underpaid.

Far more worried about giving up  Smart, Crowder, KO and Jaylen Brown, '18 (which is probably what Doc will ask for) than how he would fit in.

Why would Ainge be so stubborn with holding onto a pick when his drafting strategy has always been to take the wpa, or worst player available, lol? ;D

So, so far two nobodies with no media credentials have twittered the same thing, and that's good enough for all of us. Great.
