Yeah his characterization of the packages being discussed is the single biggest argument against him knowing what he's talking about.  There's no way we're just offering Amir/Jerebko/Zeller, which amount to some mediocre big man depth, plus a little cap relief next offseason for SAC, but stonewalling on including a 1st.

True -- that package is absurd.  I think it all starts with the 2017 1st -- especially for Cousins since in one fell swoop the Kings are looking at two top-5 picks in 2017.    GREAT opportunity to start anew.   We throw in a couple promising youth (Smart/Brown; Hunter/Rozier).

Haha, not quite though - Sixers have swap rights with SAC in exchange for taking the Stauskas/Landry contracts so they could sign Rondo for one season.  So 2 lotto picks are likely, 2 top 5s much less so.  That's why I was speculating earlier that we might try to pull off a 3-way with Philly where Sacramento gets their own pick back and maybe Okafor as well.

He basically just said Mickey is too valuable to give up for Cousins.

I'm going to bed.

Yup, he made the cardinal mistake of Twitter "insiders" - got too specific.  Shoulda made it more plausible.

Terry Rozier not playing yesterday,  might be because he's involved in a trade.  😁

I really like Rozier, but if I were to choose between him and Smart to keep, I would prefer to keep Smart. His defense alone makes him too valuable for me

I suppose if ur in the West, it's time to punt after the KD fiasco.

And now that BKL looks to be a bottom two team for the next couple years, maybe one might want to give Danny a jingle?

That's literally the ONLY part of this that makes any sense...   I just don't see either Doc or Vlade making this kind of move for a package headlined by Amir Johnson and a lottery ticket.

Cousins over Griffin. The most dominant center in the NBA. He needs a good team.

Cousins would be worth it. They can probably get Griffin for less.

I believe Stevens coaching has a lot to do with the worth of Celtics players. They might not be as good elsewhere. Just a hunch.

Now I'm hearing on the tweets there's a 3 way: Griffin to Celts, Gay to Clips, Crowder to Kings. plus other pieces. @KeithSmithNBA. a few hrs old, though.

This stuff is apparently being leaked out of Las Vegas.

If possible I'd rather give up 5 future Celtics owned first picks than either of the Nets remaining picks. Lol

This guy is full of it. He's claiming that Mickey is the sticking point in a trade for Blake... because he'll be a top 15 big man in "1-2 years".

He's a nice 2nd-round prospect who couldn't even crack our rotation last year.

What a hack.
