I'm excited to the possibility of adding Cousins, but I'm scared as hell too. If he is that locker room cancer that some people talk about, he could possibly ruin our team. It takes one bad orange to screw all the others in the bag.

At least if it's Cousins for a while I won't have to hear "Let's trade for Cousins!" as though that person is the first one that thought of it.

Added bonus: Probably means the end of the Okafor rumors, too. That, in and of itself, is a reason to root for a trade.

I think he's playing too much Pokemon Go too be plugged into an NBA team during early July.

This guy looks like a wacko, but if you go through his Twitter feed, it appears that he does make some pretty accurate predictions that are more than the "so and so will sign here" type variety.

Like for example, he calls the Horford signing the day before it was announced and actually states that one of the reasons Horford signed with us is that Horford heard that D12 was going to sign with Atlanta.

A few days after the Horford signing came out, reports said that Horford didn't want to play D12.

I would rather have Cousins, he is better than Griffin in all aspects of the game with maybe the exception of passing. He shoots better, is better in the post, rebounds more, defends more.

But if passing is the only thing that Cousins lose to Griffin, it certainly won't matter since we added Horford, a great passing big man.

With a vet like Horford and the fact that that he wouldn't be the leader of the team, I wouldn't worry too much

I hear the rule of thumb for malcontent type players is that a good team can handle 1, it's when you get 2 or more that you have a problem.  Remember Popovich got along with Stephen Jackson for two separate stints in SA.

Cousins' problems seem to be more about focus and emotional control than getting drunk and fighting people ala Okafor or Blake.  Can be a major problem on the court but I see him as less likely to be disruptive off it.

Danny's drafting sucks. Has he ever had a good third round pick? No!

I wouldn't make that trade only because we would only have one year of Blake before he could opt out.
