Take w/ a grain of salt. No personal attacks please

Not to familiar with this guy, but you can look up his tweets from July 1st, the night before Horford signed. He seems to be connected to some kind of source.

At least if it's Cousins for a while I won't have to hear "Let's trade for Cousins!" as though that person is the first one that thought of it.

I'd say about half of all people pulling stuff out of their *** got Horford to Boston instead of Atlanta, so excuse me if I don't trust a guy just based on getting Horford to Boston right
I'm bitter.

OK -- so I am getting worked up.   PLEASE tell me if I really shouldn't. I'm relying on all you media savvy Cbloggers.  Tell me that there is no smoke here if there is really no smoke.

I am falling into full rumor-mode jitters. Refresh.  Breathe a minute.  Refresh....

Who else is there.... or getting there?

I think there may be smoke here, but in this specific guy's case it's curling out of his pipe.

...which is to say, I think we really are pursuing Cousins and/or Griffin - there've been enough hints from team sources, and other teams I think are seeing how Brooklyn and next year's draft are shaping up and really want that pick - but most of this unsourced Twitter stuff is just people reading which way the wind's blowing to puff themselves up if they wind up being accurate.  Note this guy's got his bases covered if either deal pans out.

I wish we could have gotten more value out of the #3 pick. Dunn was the best value pick and teams wanted him in trades, would have been great to do something like/around a package of #3 for Zach Lavine and the #5 and trade the #5 for Okafor or we could have selected Jaylen Brown at #5.....I would rather Lavine and Okafor.

Now if we were trading the picks for a stud player like Boogie or Griffin, our team would be stacked....I could see Okafor and Lavine being great as IT like 6th men, coming off the bench and messing the other team up and exhausting them.

I agree we are pursuing Cousins or Griffin but this guy is just trying to sound like he has some source and make a name for himself.

I really believe we might get Cousins but I'm not trying to pretend I have some source except just logic.

I don't know if we have enough but as far as stars around the league he is one of the few that could be had and actually fits what we would be wanting to do.

This source is sketchy at best...

BUT, if there is anything at all to this rumor, I would certainly hope that he prefers Cousins to Griffin, especially with Griffin's contract issue.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
