what do you think?

Is Danny done dealing or is he going to get that big name that put us in contention right away? Will he look at what is happening in Brooklyn and hold on tighter to those Brooklyn picks? I wish there was a way for him to signal that he is done if that is the case. I am refreshing this board constantly for Celtics news.

There is only so many ways folks can post Sully sucks and they are happy to see him go. I would like some fresh information.

hmmm welll~~~~~

we lost a "strong rebounder"

we lost a "shooter" (mid range shooter that is XD)

he did say we need to address those needs somehow.......

so it should be something about those two needs only they should be upgraded versions of Sully and Turner otherwise why let them go in the first place. I understand for Turner we were trying to get Durant. As for Sully, as bad as he may have been, we could bring him back for sth...(but dunno what he might have been demanding...)

oh well, youth development then. but its gonna be hard to make the playoffs as a high seed :S

I'm sure he will try to pull of a trade or sign some smaller pieces. Like he said we still need another pure center and at least 1 shooter.

I think it's a package for a center to go with the Horford/Amir rotation.

I also think Rozier is ultimately gone in the package, and the return depends on the picks or other players involved.

Okafor, Noel, or going big, Cousins style.

If we trade Rozier who fills the gap for Turner?

ye the big guy we will bring should be the "upper tier" type

for the shooter, i guess we can find an experienced polished shooter who can put the ball in the basket

Smart and Brown with potentially a pinch of Demetrius Jackson.

I don't know that he'll pull off a Okafor/Noel of Cousins deal, but I do think he's been trying.

I am OK either way.  He gets one of those 3 and I'm pretty excited (especially Cousins).  If he stands pat or just makes a small deal, I'm good with waiting till trade deadline or to see what that 2017 pick looks like.

I don't think we're done. but I wouldn't go thinking we're trading for a big name.

on that note, if we do try to make a big splash trade that includes AB and Smart that would be the stupidest move ever.

Signing an all star forward and drafting 3 first round picks.....that was the fireworks.
Maybe there is one more trade out there with Philly.

I don't think we would have rescinded Sully's offer without a deal of some sort in the works. Not expecting a star, but I'm guessing there will be a trade for a starting caliber center.

Well, last we heard from Ainge was at the Horford intro press conference a few days ago, and he said "We're not done".

Very unlikely that means Cousins or Butler at least right now. I do think think they are mulling over Noel/Okafor deal with Philly and probably hoping the price comes down a little more. I'd hate to part with Rozier but if it means we can keep AB/Smart, I would do it.

I don't recall when rookies can be traded but maybe around that time we might see another deal.

The fact that the Nets were only able to sign Lin and maybe Sully means that nets pick next year is very likely to be top 5. They will be extremely lucky if Lopez doesn't miss 10+ games this year.

Cousins or Westbrook could be possible before the season, but more likely around the trade deadline.
