Ante Zizic will not be on roster this year

This was about an hour ago, curious that it wasn't mentioned yet. In any case, great news... we have limited roster spots, and Zizic was a big question mark if he'd accept being stashed. Yabusele is a given I think to be stashed, but I think Danny is waiting on the Sully/Zeller situation to settle before deciding.

Though probably still wants to keep both Bentil and Jackson, so that can get tricky without Yabusele leaving.

Meh, we have his rights. We have bigger fish to fry, the more players we can stash without losing them (we are at risk of losing binky favorites of Bentil & Jackson) the better.

Zizic and his agent were told up front with Horford and Amir , he will be rotting on the bench.  Next season likely he will have a spot on the team.

What is going on with Jerebko? did he get his optioned picked? If not keep Yabu

There's no option to be picked up for Jerebko. All we have to do is nothing and he'll be retained. He has a nonguaranteed contract that becomes guaranteed at a certain date (after today it would seem, if not today already).

So, there's really no news to be made all told.

There's no option to be picked up for Jerebko. All we have to do is nothing and he'll be retained. He has a nonguaranteed contract that becomes guaranteed at a certain date (after today it would seem, if not today already).

Contracts are guaranteed for 1st rounders. If he accepts staying in Europe, signs a letter that we won't sign a contract this year, then he's removed from our salary cap.

This in turn opens a roster spot & gives us more salary flexibility while still retaining the rights to bring him over in future seasons.

yeah he will probably suck anyway but on draft night that " international expert" guy fran fraschilla i think gave him a glowing review/ got me all exicted!

If so, stashing a potential future starter  is simply great

I'm asking myself the same thing, I'll let you know when I find it. Regardless, it's my understanding that the same guaranteed contract (beginning with year 1 as it is) goes back into effect the next July.
