Presumably it's Horford.  Means they officially intend to have him put pen to paper by then, which also means that at least one of Sully and Zeller will be resolved by that time, as otherwise there is no cap room.

If this "major team announcement" is simply something we already know (Horford) or something minor (Jonas or AJ) I'll be shocked. Danny wouldn't do that to us.

i got my hopes up for a split sec then I realized that they have to make the signing official. The moratorium is over so FAs can officially sign.

Has to be the Horford signing. Danny doesnt hold huge press conferences to announce trades and if it was a trade it would have leaked by now. Really nothing to see here.

If it was just Horford I feel like they'd say so.  Seems like either introducing new players including Horford and some mystery acquisition we expect to go down tonight, or something not directly player-related like a change in team president or something.
