Hyperextended knee it seems. Probably from the dunk he was trying to pull off.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If it was on that play (no way of knowing) I would blame the foul more than the attempt.  But I'm sure he'll be alright.  I like his aggressiveness.

We will showcase him allowing the opponents to break a summer league record for blocks as they stuff him and throw him to the floor.

They were talking about it on NBA radio and the feeling is that it's only mild soreness if anything. Basically jaylen wanted to play tonight, but the celtics were kind of just being careful.

They were also saying alot of positive things about jaylen. One note I found interesting was about his negative interviews around the combine. Apparently he showed up in a full suit when most guys came in shorts and a tee shirt. He was carrying a briefcase and made sure to shake everyone's hands in the room. He also was very powerful with his eye contact, and it was his intelligence, not his attitude that scared a few teams.

One of the guys was laughing saying if he is trying to one hand throw down dunk over a big in summer league from the free throw line area at 19, imagine what he will be trying in a game after a few years of nba conditioning closer to his athletic prime.

I want to cuddle with this post. TP.

So basically those executives put off by him are either wimps who crave control or latent racists who equate high IQ and intensity in a black man with "attitude", ugh.

Hooray for Jaylen, Danny, the Celtics, and hooray for us because we are lucky as fans and will get to enjoy rooting for this kid as he masters the game.

I agree.
I think he's just an extremely motivated, smart human being.

What I noticed last night was how much muscular growth he still has left in him.
He's got a good 25-35 LB's of muscle to add on that enormous frame, and when he does...wow.
If he can develop a 3 point shot and maintain that muscle my god we've got a monster on our hands.

I'm super excited with Jaylen and I think at age 19, he's a true superstar potential talent.

Couldn't be happier with the pick.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
