It's obviously very hard to discuss this now.

Who knows what our roster will be by then, how good/bad Rozier, Jackson and the other rookies will have turned out to be, which FAs would be available etc.

But IMO Smart is the one who is likely to stay the longer with us if only because he be an RFA. I can see IT and/or Bradley getting traded before 2018- their contracts have good value.

I just can't see Ainge trading Boston's best promoter and recruiter, and a guy who openly says he loves Boston. He's also our best scorer on the roster currently.

I can see Bradley being expendable but again, his defense especially against teams like Golden State is just too valuable. But yeah Bradley is likely to be the one traded especially if Smart and Brown become good defenders/perimeter defenders in this league.

Bradley is going to get traded because he wants out.    I don't talk to a lot of guys so you don't have to take my word for it but I did hear from someone on the team that said Bradley still isn't happy about his contract, wants more minutes, and didn't like the Jaylen Brown draft.  You definitely don't have to take my word for it but if I was a betting man i would say Bradley is gone based on that conversation.

If I had to make a gm decision I'd be tempted to keep Bradley because he has an awesome contract.

The writing has been on the wall here. At $8M/yr, Bradley is excellent value for another team acquiring him. If we had signed Durant, I would have loved to keep Bradley, but if we are going to take the next step, then we probably need to upgrade his position and he should yield a decent return. Crowder isn't going anywhere and IT has been our biggest promoter. I hope Smart takes the next step, but he will be very useful regardless.

Bradley is the one I see being traded. It is wonderful that we currently have these players on such value contracts, but those days will be ending soon and we just can't afford all of them.

Avery Bradley is one of the most under-rated defenders in the NBA, but as much as I would hate to see him go, it's hard to argue with your reasoning.

He's on a great contract, and would make an immediate impact on any roster he joins. We could definitely trade him and gain assets to help extend our rebuild (given that Durant has made it that much harder to compete for a title in the immediate future, we might need to find a way to prolong this build up...this might be the way)

Wouldn't be surprised if Crowder tells his to take a hike too.

I hope not lol. We are already thin at the 3 as is. Even with Brown who is still developing.

I can understand Avery feeling under-paid, but the specific laments over minutes and Jaylen Brown don't really make a lot of sense.  Avery played the most minutes per game on the Celtics last year and the second most minutes overall (a little behind Thomas, and both of them were way ahead of the next player up).   And why on earth would he be bothered by the Jaylen Brown pick?

Danny's made it pretty clear he values Avery pretty highly and there is no reason to believe he won't 'get paid' on his next contract.

Put me in the 'skeptical' category with regards to this particular report.

Avery is the easiest of those three to lose.

I truthfully think we keep IT and Smart but lose Bradley.
Smart doesn't look like he's gonna get a massive contract from another team. IT hopefully can take a small paycut and take near-max to help us out a bit.
