Overreaction to a half of SL.

He made his 3's but still struggles on D. He just needs to work on his D to become competent. He is improving and can easily become a 3 point threat in the NBA and he is still the 2nd youngest player on the roster he's only 20

I tend to agree.
He really has shown nothing.

This is where the Danny Ainge Fan Club comes by to defend a miserable, miserable wasted 1st round draft pick.

Give him an envelope filled with money and send him off to find a career. It's time - going on his 3rd year and he is horrible. He is so weak and gets stuffed every time he tries to take it to the hoop. Good luck but I'm afraid he will never be an NBA player. I know he's only like 12 years old but we haven't got that much time.

Yeah I don't think his timeline works for the Celts anymore. He's a couple years away from contributing, still.

He needs to find his life's work.

It obviously is not in the NBA.

Edit:

Impressive that that comment got through the filter...same with Young.

No need to cut him, just send him too a team with cap space.  If no one will take him alone, add in a low-value second rounder
I'm bitter.

I loved the pick at the time.  A wing with the ability to hit the 3, and athletic.  We he turned out to be not so athletic, and he hasn't been able to turn into a passable defender.

Not all mid 1st round picks work out.  I don't think there is room for him on our roster this year unless we do a volume trade for a big who will contribute.   If that happens he may make the roster, but I kind of doubt it.
