How can a team with 73 wins be allowed to sign him? Nba should of somehow stopped this. If they won 73 games last year are we looking at 82-0 next year. The nba will suck now for the next 3-5 years. Yes I'm upset he didn't come to Boston but Im furious hes on the warriors. He could of chose the heat went back to okc, signed anywhere but a team that won 73 wins. Coward!!! Trade for Westbrook!!!!

Its not even that..

its the players mentality today..No player back in the day would entertain a thought like this

When Ray Allen left, the guy new what he was at that point of his career, he went somewhere where he could help the team but not carry a load on his shoulders, because he knew he was nearing the end

Durant just had a career year, almost beat GS, but now he joins them in the prime of his career

unheard of, but that is the state of the nba, its a childs game now, no more men.

If GSW lose in the playoffs, is it safe to say Durant leaves?

I think this is the outcome every NBA fan outside of Golden State dreams.

The NBA has become a joke it's such a non competitive league. There are only 3 teams that have a legitimate shot of winning going into every season and now you have a top 3 player joining the already best team in the league that won 73 games. Just gross

KD is all man. He went where he could win. Westbrook is leaving and he wants rings. If I was him that is where I would play too. We can now trade for Bogut and play in the ECF and have two great picks coming.

i love the celtics,  but as a league i find the nba the worst.   it's like there are 4 teams a year that are the globetrotters and the rest of the league is the washington generals.   i don't know the answer.  maybe no cap.

Without a doubt, if GSW would have won he would not have signed there. Makes me think, hmmm...

They need a hard salary cap, so the Warriors would have some serious decisions to make when Step and Klay are due to renewals.

If it makes you feel better, I see this as lose-lose for Kevin Durant.  If GS becomes unbeatable, he won't get full credit.  If they lose in the playoffs people will be criticizing his decision.

To be honest, I actually don't see this GS team being much more "fearful" than last year's. This concept of mashing all-stars together simply hasn't worked. The exception is Miami and what persons always overlook is how great and versatile a player Chris Bosh is... he made that big 3 work.

Look at the Clippers, OKC and even the Cavs... yeah they still won, but Kevin Love's role is definitely replaceable.

KD is a shooter, but GS already had a team full of shooters. He's actually going to be taking time from Iggy, who is there best defender... Sure this looks good on paper, but its still just one ball

Outrageous cowardice and lack of competitiveness on Kevin Durant's part. An utterly repulsive act.

GSW will be the most hated team in history, and the name Kevin Durant will be synonymous with cowardice, laziness and greed.

I doubt they will have any fans outside of the Bay Area. How could anyone root for them ?

It's a sign of the times unfortunately. Current era NBA players are not the ones we grew up watching. Pride isn't even in the top 10 list of priorities of the typical NBA player. There's very few "builders" in the NBA anymore.

If he leaves, I no longer want him. He is obviously not the leader everyone thought he was.
