FWIW, a rumor (from an unverified source) about KD signing with Boston

Thought it was worth its own thread : a guy named Nick Mattioli, who claims to have had an internship with the Celtics and to still have connections with a member of the team, who announced from that source the exact details of Horford's commitment to Boston the night before it actually happened : "Per source, Celtics offered Al Horford a 4yr, $113M max-salary offer. Told team he'll sign & make it official after attending Durant meeting"

He now claims, according to the same source, that KD's will announce his decision to sign with Boston at midday : "REPORT: People close w/ Durant informed Celtics insiders that KD will sign w/ C's. Will let public know midday July 4th via @PlayersTribune."

And he replied this to my retweet : " I did announce the Al Horford signing the night before and the correct max offer. All coming from the same source."

And when someone asked about the Woj Horford/Washington/Boston/Atl tweets, his reply was : "Woj tweets a lot of incorrect rumors regarding signings. He is not up to date like you think he is."

Yeah that's the confusing part. Horford wasn't a part of that meeting and, despite the kids claims about Woj, literally every news outlet said horford was still deciding

people "called" the al Horford signing in February.  There were numerous reports for months that we wouldn't give up major assets in a trade for him, because we were going to try signing him.

Seriously - don't fall for Twitter trolls.  I hope KD signs here too.  Maybe he will.  But Twitter trolls are the worst.
