I really have no problem with KD going to GSW. Look LBJ is the best player of this generation; love him or hate him you can't argue otherwise. He teamed up with 2 max contract legitimate all stars in Miami, and he did it again in Cleveland (okay we all know Love has not really lived up quite yet but he's just the third wheel ala Ray Allen and Chris Bosh). LBJ went to the Finals how many times in a row now? I believe it's six.
So now you think it's unfair for other stars to join a team that can challenge this? The odds of OKC drafting a 3rd max/ASG caliber player is minimal given they will not be in the lottery except the odd years when KD or Russ are hurt. Funny thing is they sort of had that with Harden. But there's no way him and Russ could coexist. So they are just stuck unless they can get a big name to sign on with them, or if KD and Russ look for greener pastures.
I don't really respect LeBron for joining forces with other big stars and winning his titles that way. He only jumped back to CLE when the league gave them 3 out of 4 #1 picks in a row against tremendous odds, but that's a entirely different "topic". But that's the way of the game when free agency exists.
