If Durant decides to go with GSW, what will your reaction be?

I'd hate it, not because he didn't choose the Celtics, but because he chose GSW. It's Lebron to the Heat all over again. I would much rather KD go to any other team (like OKC) over GSW.

Completely hypocritical.   Golden State will become the evil empire everyone will be rooting against.  If they think it through, Durant's people will tell him this is a horrible idea.

I will be disappointed for a couple of reasons.

1. It will be a move against my firm belief that he made up his mind to join the Celtics moths ago because I really believe this.

2. I will be disappointed because I do not like ring chasing of this type. It will be a move that defeats the purpose of the salary cap.

It would drop my opinion of him, the same way it did of Lebron.  I can't hate Bron for doing it and give Durant a pass.

Curry's been my fave since he was drafted out of Davidson and was injured / jacking up shots with Monta, so I do want the Dubs to do well.  That being said, I'd be PO'd.  Not only would the Celtics lose out on Durant, but I don't think he would necessarily make the Warriors any better considering the depth they'd give up for him.  OKC doesn't deserve a basketball team, but I'd rather him stay in that crappy cowboy town than go join with Curry.

If he stays in OKC, I  can't be mad at that. If he doesn't sign in Boston and joins another team not located in OKC, I would definitely be a bit upset.  GSW just seems like the easy way out.  He just doesn't seem like that type of dude.  The bench will basically be gutted, save for some holdovers, scrubs, and maybe some vets that will take the minimum to sign up and ring chase, but that's it.  Only time I am cool with ring chasing is when a player is basically on his way out and just wants 1 for the sake of having it.  KD still has a lot of basketball left in him and the Boston situation may not be the most ideal (at this moment) but it is obviously going to be a hell of a lot better with him on board.  It's not as if KD signs in Boston then the Celtics are strangled and can't do anything.  They would have a solid team and still have much flexibility in various areas (draft picks, contracts for trades, etc.).

I guess we will see what happens.

If Durant goes to GSW and meets LeBron in the finals... and LeBron still wins... i might just end up getting a LBJ tattoo because this will now be his planet and we're all going to be Lord James' servants.

Sickened = I could understand Ray Allen going to Miami. He was a role player and old. The team was breaking down. The GM had tried to trade him several times. But Durant? -- we are talking about an MVP caliber player on a top team that has youth and can be a title contender for the next 6-9 years and is on a team that is completely loyal to him and would cater to just about any demands Durant could make of them.

It would be absolutely disgusting to see Durant leave a team like that to join a rival that just defeated them.

I would be very disappointed to say the least. That team is already stacked and don't need KD to win. If it's not Boston than I prefer he go back to OKC, it makes the league better IMO.

Disappointment seems to be the key word in most responses so far...first word that came to my mind also.

Not just a disappointment on what could be in Boston...but more of a disappointment in his choice to not be the leader that he is and could be in the future.  He would always be second banana in GSW...in Boston, he could be part of a TEAM.

Basically, the NBA champion would become a foregone conclusion for the next 5-8 years. Following the NBA would become pointless unless LeBron joined the Clippers or something.
